FRONT AND BACK OF HOUSE

Native New Yorker brothers, James and Justin have eaten and cooked their way around this city.  In different, complementary roles, both have worked at Mile End Delicatessen, training under owners Noah and Rae Bernamoff, Joel Tietolman, Chefs Jay Chan (Mas Farmhouse, Apt4 Food and Wine, Northern Spy, ) and Aaron Israel (A Voce, Torrisi).  We specialize in Neopolitan and Southern Italian cooking under the influence and training of our parents Neil and Diana Durazzo and uncle Tony Durazzo (Frankies Spuntino, Prime Meats, Cafe Pedlar).  In addition to event catering and private dining events--Brooklyn Cook House and the Bushwick Ginger Social--we're organically growing Durazzo and Friends via James' raw and refined creative visions at each weekly Mister Sunday music and dance party in Gowanus, Brooklyn feeding over 400 every Sunday afternoon.
